What we’ll provide:

1. You will receive a call or e-mail within three business days from our support team to review the modification and/or outlining the quote.

A. Please note that all modifications will require the purchase of the reproducible vellum licensing. This licensing allows you to reproduce your new design as many times as needed for a one-time build. Additional licenses can be purchased for building more than one house by contacting us at 770-755-5153.

 

B. Along with the licensing, our modifications package provides your choice of a reproducible vellum and one set of blackline prints, or five blackline sets of full construction plans to get you started. If additional sets are required, you may make additional copies as needed for the one-time build.

 

C.  Modifications are custom quoted based upon the hours needed to do your modifications. We will not exceed the quoted amount unless additional changes are added after the acceptance of the service order. An example of average modification packages we have done is listed below.

 

Sample modification rate of typical modifications:

Minimal changes   $175.00 to $600.00 

Modest changes    $450.00 to $1,200.00

Complex Changes $850.00 to $2,500.00

 

*Prices are averages and are in addition to purchasing the reproducible licensing. Your quote will vary depending on your specific needs.

2.  After reviewing the quote we will provide you with a service contract outlining the modifications and fee structure.

 

3. Upon review, you will fill out the appropriate contact information and fax the contract to 763-226-2317.

 

4. Once we receive the contract information, we will process your order and assign your project to one of our design professionals. Depending on the complexity of the modifications the average turn-around for modifications is 2-3 weeks.

 

5. We typically provide an e-mail or fax of a preliminary set of plans for your review. This gives you an opportunity to review your modifications and to provide any feedback prior to completion of your plan set.

6. Upon completion of the final construction plans we will send your plan package and the licensing to reproduce the plans for your project.

 

7. If you have purchased additional services i.e. beam calculations and/or energy calculations these are typically sent to your e-mail address and will be done at the conclusion of your modifications.
